SCREW CONVEYORS

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE

It is used to carry the solid wastes such as screen wastes or dewatered sludges to the storage areas in the wastewater treatment facilities. It is more advantageous to carry wastes with high water content compared to other conveyors. The water accumulated at the bottom of the screw conveyors is discharged by the discharge valve at the bottom.
